Dr. Ebert is from the Portland metropolitan area. Her interest in veterinary medicine began in junior high school when her family’s cat was injured and required a tail amputation. She was so amazed and elated when he made a full recovery – albeit with a shortened tail – that she decided to become a veterinarian.
She graduated from Oregon State University with a B.S. in Animal Sciences and a poultry option before earning her D.V.M from the OSU School of Veterinary Medicine. Her professional interests include surgery, animal behavior, and exotic species.
She lives in Aloha with her husband and their menagerie of feathered, furred, and scaled companions. In her spare time, Dr. Ebert enjoys crafts including rubber stamping and scrap-booking, playing video games, reading, and going on walks with her corgi, Fable.
