Dr. Sharleen Henery

Dr. Sharleen Henery has extensive experience in internal medicine, soft tissue surgery and preventive care medicine.  Additionally, she has experience diagnosing and treating goats.  She has lived in the Eugene area for over 26 years. Her passion for pets and their families is the cornerstone for her successful veterinary career.

Dr. Henery enjoys horseback riding, reading and spending time with family in her leisure time.  She has 4 dogs and 2 cats.  Additionally, her family owns Jersey cows, ducks, chickens and pigs!


Customer Service Representative

Darla started her journey as a customer service representative at a small animal hospital in Eugene in 1995. She then moved to Washington with her husband in 2005 to work for a large (horses) and small (dogs and cats) practice. We are truly blessed that after 10 years in Washington, Darla decided to return back to the Eugene area. Outside of work Darla spends time with her 20+ year old mare, gardening, reading, and spending time cooking and watching football with her family.



Marlie has worked for many years as a veterinary technicians. Before joining H&H, Marlie worked as a surgery technician in an animal emergency room. Her experience in general practice combined with her emergency room skills has made Marlie a great asset to our team. When not working Marlie enjoys trail riding with her horses and dog.


Kennel Assistant

Jake has been a great addition to our team. He is an avid animal lover and is currently enrolled with the Animal Behavior College. His desire to learn everything about animals and ability to jump in and help where ever he can makes him an integral part of our team. His hobbies include video games, dog training, and sports such as bowling, Ping-Pong and bad mitten.
